These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of Spectrus audio plugin software ("Software") provided by Morphulus ("we", "us", or "our") and our website. By downloading, installing, or using Spectrus, you agree to these Terms.
1. License Grant
Free Version: We grant you a free, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use Spectrus Free for personal and commercial music production purposes.
Pro Version: Upon purchase, we grant you a non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use Spectrus Pro on any computers that you personally own or control. This license is perpetual for the version purchased.
2. Demo Mode
Spectrus includes a Demo mode that provides temporary access to all Pro effects for evaluation purposes. Demo mode is intended for personal evaluation only and is not suitable for production use. In Demo mode, a periodic audio fade is applied to the output as a reminder that a Pro license has not been activated. You may use Demo mode for as long as you wish to evaluate the Software before purchasing.
3. Restrictions
You may not:
- Redistribute, sell, lease, or sublicense the Software
- Reverse engineer, decompile, or disassemble the Software
- Remove or modify any proprietary notices or labels
- Share your license key with others
- Use the Software in any way that violates applicable laws
4. Ownership
The Software and all intellectual property rights therein are owned by Morphulus. This license does not grant you any ownership rights to the Software.
5. Payment and Refunds
All purchases are processed through Payhip. Prices are in USD and may be subject to applicable taxes.
We offer a 14-day money-back guarantee. If you're not satisfied with Spectrus Pro, contact us within 14 days of purchase for a full refund.
6. Updates
Your Pro license includes free updates to all versions in the 1.x release series. Major version upgrades (e.g., 2.0) may require a separate purchase at a discounted upgrade price.
7. Support
We provide email support for technical issues related to the Software. Support is provided on a reasonable-efforts basis.
8. Disclaimer of Warranties
THE SOFTWARE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" WITHOUT WARRANTY OF ANY KIND. WE DISCLAIM ALL WARRANTIES, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT.
9. Limitation of Liability
IN NO EVENT SHALL MORPHULUS BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES ARISING FROM YOUR USE OF THE SOFTWARE. OUR TOTAL LIABILITY SHALL NOT EXCEED THE AMOUNT YOU PAID FOR THE SOFTWARE.
10. Termination
We may terminate your license if you violate these Terms. Upon termination, you must cease all use of the Software and delete all copies.
11. Changes to Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use of the Software after changes constitutes acceptance of the new Terms.
